Job Title: Director, Global Market Access and Government Affairs

Location: EMEA or North America
Reports to: Vice President of Patient Access


Position Summary:

The Director of Global Market Access and Government Affairs is a strategic leadership role responsible for shaping and executing global strategies that enhance patient access to our client's portfolio of blood and cell therapies and devices. This role oversees regional leaders across EMEA, North America, APAC, China, and LATAM, and is a key member of the Patient Access Leadership Team, which includes Medical Affairs, Government Affairs, and Market Access.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership:

    • Develop and implement integrated market access and reimbursement strategies.
    • Lead global policy initiatives to support product launches and lifecycle management.
    • Align strategies with the organization's global objectives to improve patient access.
  • Government Affairs:

    • Engage with policymakers, government officials, and regulatory agencies.
    • Influence healthcare policy to create favorable environments for innovation.
    • Monitor and analyze legislative and regulatory developments globally.
  • Market Access:

    • Build partnerships with payers, public institutions, and stakeholders.
    • Identify and mitigate risks related to market access and policy changes.
  • Team Leadership:

    • Lead a high-performing, diverse global team.
    • Foster collaboration across regions and functions.
    • Drive accountability and results aligned with business goals.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in global market access, government affairs, or public policy within the medical device industry.
  • Strong understanding of global healthcare systems and reimbursement landscapes.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to navigate complex regulatory and political environments.
