About the Role
Our client is looking for a Director, Drug Safety & Pharmacovigilance to help lead safety oversight across oncology and autoimmune programs. This person will play a critical role in guiding a program through key later-stage milestones toward market, while also supporting earlier-stage development.
What You'll Do
- Own day-to-day safety oversight for assigned oncology and/or autoimmune programs
- Partner with cross-functional program teams to guide safety strategy through late-stage development and toward potential market approval
- Represent Drug Safety/PV on program teams, providing subject matter expertise and clear, confident communication on safety topics
- Navigate cross-functional input and, when needed, push back and hold the line on safety-driven decisions
- Support core safety documentation and processes across the product lifecycle
What You'll Need
- Clinical experience prior to moving into industry and 6+ years of industry experience
- Experience in oncology and/or autoimmune drug development
- Experience supporting a program through later-stage development toward market
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable operating cross-functionally and navigating differing viewpoints on program teams
- MD or advanced scientific degree preferred
