Supply Planner (6-Month Contract)
Location: Hybrid (3 days on-site per week), Venlo, Netherlands
Hours: 40 hours per week
A leading medical device organisation is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Supply Planner for a 6-month contract. This role is responsible for managing international inventory across the EMEA region, ensuring optimal service levels and cost efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage purchasing activities for saleable goods from OEM suppliers
- Oversee order processing, follow-ups, and customer communication for orthopaedic products
- Monitor outstanding purchase orders and ageing reports
- Resolve invoice issues and manage invoice holds
- Analyse supplier performance data and support evaluation processes
- Collaborate with business leaders, manufacturing, and sales teams to align inventory levels
- Support investment decisions through data-driven insights
- Utilize supply chain planning tools and recommend process improvements
Candidate Profile
- Minimum 2 years of experience in demand or supply planning within an international environment
- Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain solutions
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., Oracle e-Business Suite)
- Fluent in English; additional languages are advantageous
- Strong analytic skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
