Senior Territory Manager
EPM Scientific is partnered with a leading global medical device organization seeking a Senior Territory Manager to support its Interventional Cardiology business in Austin, TX. This individual will be responsible for driving territory growth, expanding physician adoption, and supporting hospitals with a portfolio of innovative coronary intervention technologies.
This is a field-based sales role requiring a strong clinical aptitude and the ability to build relationships within cardiac catheterization labs. The ideal candidate is a motivated sales professional who enjoys developing business, supporting physicians and staff, and delivering results in a complex hospital environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Grow revenue through new business development and increased utilization within existing hospital accounts.
- Promote a portfolio of interventional cardiology products used in the treatment of coronary artery disease and acute cardiac conditions.
- Build relationships with interventional cardiologists, cath lab staff, administrators, and purchasing stakeholders.
- Provide clinical product education, case support, and procedural observation within hospital accounts.
- Develop and execute territory business plans to achieve sales objectives.
- Identify customer needs and position solutions that improve clinical outcomes and procedural efficiency.
- Partner with internal clinical, marketing, and leadership teams to support account growth and customer success.
- Deliver product presentations, in-services, and educational programs for healthcare professionals.
- Maintain awareness of market dynamics, competitive activity, and account opportunities throughout the territory.
Required Background
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of medical device, healthcare, or complex B2B sales experience.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
- Experience selling into hospitals and working directly with physician customers.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and territory management skills.
- Clinical understanding of cardiovascular, interventional cardiology, or cath lab environments preferred.
- Must reside within the assigned territory.
Travel Requirements
- Frequent travel throughout the assigned territory.
- Regular presence within hospital and procedural environments.
- Valid driver's license required.
