Senior Sales Specialist - Single-Use Technologies Switzerland | Field-based
EPM Scientific is working with a leading supplier of bioprocessing technologies to appoint a Senior Technical Sales Specialist for the Swiss market, focused on their single-use portfolio.
This is a technically-led commercial role covering an established customer base of biopharmaceutical manufacturers, alongside a clear mandate to open new business. You will own the territory end to end - building the pipeline, running the technical conversation, and working alongside account management and technical support colleagues to grow the accounts that matter most.
It suits someone who enjoys the consultative side of the sale: understanding a customer's process, matching the right solution, and building credibility with scientific and manufacturing stakeholders over time.
Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of the territory, managing both existing accounts and new business development
- Build and maintain a healthy pipeline, moving opportunities through to close
- Lead the technical conversation with customers, matching the portfolio to their process requirements
- Work closely with account management and technical support colleagues to shape account strategy
- Identify and qualify new prospects across the territory
- Support the introduction of new products into the market and drive adoption
- Maintain strong product and market knowledge across the portfolio
- Build long-term relationships with scientific, manufacturing and procurement stakeholders
What they're looking for
- A life sciences or engineering degree
- Several years' commercial experience within bioprocessing or biomanufacturing, ideally with single-use or consumables exposure
- Solid technical grounding in bioproduction workflows
- Confidence presenting to and influencing technical and senior stakeholders
- Comfort with regular travel across the territory
- Fluent English; German and/or French a strong advantage
- Switzerland based.
