Our Client a leading company is looking for a Senior Backend Developer

Tasks

• Design, build, and support core server-side applications that power our platform and services.
• Create, enhance, and maintain integration interfaces used by financial institutions and insurance providers.
• Drive the ongoing evolution of backend environments with a focus on robustness, efficiency, scalability, and maintainability.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders, including Product, Mobile, AI, and Engineering teams, to deliver innovative capabilities and platform enhancements.
• Play an active role in defining technical direction, evaluating architecture options, and supporting the future growth of backend systems.
• Streamline software delivery through the implementation and optimization of automated build, test, and release workflows.
• Ensure high service availability by monitoring application health, troubleshooting issues, and improving system performance.
• Promote engineering excellence through peer reviews, technical guidance, and the adoption of development standards and best practices.
• Evaluate technical requirements, estimate implementation efforts, and contribute to solution architecture and project planning activities.
• Keep abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, leveraging practical innovations to strengthen and modernize the technology landscape.

Profile:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience building and supporting backend applications in production environments.
• Strong expertise in Java and modern Spring-based development.
• Proven ability to create scalable APIs and work within service-oriented or microservices environments.
• Solid database skills, particularly with SQL; knowledge of search or NoSQL technologies is advantageous.
• Experience running containerized applications using platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Good understanding of secure application design, authentication, and authorization frameworks.
• Familiarity with event-driven systems or message-based integrations is beneficial.
• Committed to delivering clean, dependable, and maintainable software solutions.
• Comfortable collaborating across teams and contributing to technical discussions and knowledge sharing.
