Contract: Contingent / freelance contract
Travel: Remote first with international travel required across manufacturing sites.
Working pattern: remote, hybrid, core hours, time-zone overlap.
A global manufacturing organisation is seeking an experienced SAP WM Functional Consultant to support a multi-site SAP template rollout.
This is a business-facing role for someone with deep, hands-on knowledge of classic SAP WM. You will work between operational teams and a systems-integration partner, translating warehouse requirements into workable SAP solutions.
Responsibilities
- Support SAP WM delivery across manufacturing and warehouse sites.
- Act as the functional bridge between business stakeholders and the configuration team.
- Advise on SAP WM process fit, requirements, testing, training, and adoption.
- Support end-to-end warehouse processes including inbound, outbound, inventory movements, and staging materials to production.
- Assist with cycle-count and inventory-related processes.
- Support phased rollout waves across international sites, typically 2-3 sites at a time.
- Work with external implementation partners on functional design and configuration.
Requirements
- Strong functional SAP WM experience in ECC/R/3 environments.
- Experience with end-to-end warehouse and manufacturing-site processes.
- Able to work credibly with both operational stakeholders and technical delivery teams.
- Experience supporting SAP rollouts, template deployments, or multi-site transformation programmes.
- Willingness to travel internationally.
