AI Harness Code base Hardening, AWS Migration & Front-end Integration

We are supporting a global pharmaceutical client on a project focused on the technical audit, hardening, cloud migration, and modernisation of an existing AI platform. We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer / Cloud Engineer with strong expertise in back-end development, AWS cloud environments, containerisation, testing frameworks, and front-end integration.

The successful consultant will be responsible for reviewing, refactoring, and optimising an existing AI harness code-base to improve maintainability, scalability, security, and performance. This includes developing and maintaining Python-based Fast API services and Node.js integration layers, implementing software security best practices, enhancing code quality, and ensuring production readiness of applications supporting AI-driven solutions.

A key aspect of the project involves migrating the application from local environments into AWS cloud infrastructure. The consultant will be responsible for containerising services using Docker, supporting deployment automation through CI/CD pipelines, and establishing scalable cloud-native architectures. Experience with GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, infrastructure deployment, and cloud migration projects will be highly advantageous.

The role will also require the design and implementation of automated testing frameworks, including unit, integration, and API testing. Candidates should be comfortable working with tools such as pytest, Jest, httpx, Ruff, Black, ESLint, and other quality assurance frameworks to ensure code reliability, maintainability, and compliance with development best practices.

On the front-end side, the consultant will be responsible for translating Figma designs into responsive user interfaces using TypeScript, HTML, and CSS. Previous experience building AI-focused applications, dashboards, conversational interfaces, analytic platforms, or data visualisation solutions would be highly desirable. The ability to work closely with designers and convert design tokens and component specifications into production-ready code is essential.
