Overview

We are partnered with a leading global engineering and advanced manufacturing organisation to appoint an Electrical Engineer to join their team in Stockholm-Uppsala.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced engineer to support the development, sustainment, and continuous improvement of complex electronic products. The successful candidate will play a key role in design modifications, product enhancement activities, troubleshooting, and lifecycle engineering within a highly collaborative engineering environment.

The position is ideally suited to an individual with a strong background in hardware design who enjoys solving technical challenges and working across multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

As an Electrical Engineer, you will:

  • Support electrical engineering activities across existing product portfolios.
  • Design, analyse, and improve analog and digital electronic circuits.
  • Participate in PCB design, layout modifications, and design reviews.
  • Evaluate, select, and qualify electronic components for new and existing designs.
  • Investigate product issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
  • Support engineering change activities and design updates throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Collaborate closely with R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, Test Engineering, and Supply Chain teams.
  • Contribute to ongoing product reliability, performance, and cost improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain technical documentation in line with company and regulatory requirements.
  • Support verification and validation testing activities where required.

Requirements

Essential Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 3-5+ years of industry experience in electrical or electronic engineering.
  • Strong experience in:
    • Analog circuit design.
    • Digital circuit design.
    • PCB design and layout.
    • Hardware troubleshooting and fault analysis.
  • Experience supporting products within a manufacturing or post-development environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience within highly regulated industries such as:
    • Medical Devices
    • Pharmaceuticals
    • Automotive
    • Aerospace
    • Industrial Automation
  • Exposure to product lifecycle management and sustainment engineering activities.
  • Experience with engineering change control processes and design modifications.
  • Familiarity with reliability engineering and continuous improvement methodologies.
