Associate Director, Sales Force Effectiveness

EPM are currently supporting a leading global biopharmaceutical company as they look to hire a remote Associate Director, Sales Force Effectiveness to join their Rare Diseases team. This permanent position plays a pivotal role in transforming field capabilities, driving sales performance, and acting as a strategic advisor to national and regional sales leadership. You'll be at the heart of Commercial Operations, supporting key decisions that shape how the sales organization operates across the USA.

Key Focus Areas

• Field Effectiveness & Operations: Lead initiatives that optimize how the field force works, ensuring activities, territories, and coverage strategies drive maximum impact.
• Field Reporting: Own and enhance reporting frameworks that translate complex data into clear insights for sales leaders.
• Field Systems & Capabilities Transformation: Partner closely on system and capability upgrades that modernize tools and processes used by the field teams.
• Strategic Advisor to Sales Leadership: Act as a trusted partner to NSDs and Regional Directors, providing data-driven recommendations to support commercial decisions.
• Sales Analytics (5+ Years): Apply deep experience in sales analytics to identify trends, opportunities, and performance drivers.

Relevant Skills

• Commercial Operations: Understanding of end-to-end commercial processes within a pharmaceutical setting.
• Channel Analytics: Ability to evaluate performance across channels to inform resource allocation and strategy..
• Pharmaceuticals Expertise: Familiarity with the unique regulatory and market dynamics of the pharmaceutical industry.
• Years of Experience: 7+ years of SFE/Incentive Compensation or Commercial Operations experience
