Vice President of Quality

I'm partnered with a growing manufacturer in the pharmaceutical, consumer health, and animal health space that is looking to add a Vice President of Quality to its executive leadership team.

Reporting directly to the President & CEO, this individual will lead the organization's entire Quality function, overseeing Quality Assurance, Quality Control, compliance, regulatory inspections, supplier quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.

This is a highly visible leadership role for someone who has successfully built and led large quality organizations, driven quality culture, and served as the ultimate authority on quality and compliance decisions within a regulated manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all QA and QC functions across the organization
• Provide strategic direction for quality systems, compliance, and inspection readiness
• Serve as the primary quality representative during FDA and third-party inspections
• Partner with Manufacturing, Regulatory Affairs, Product Development, and Executive Leadership to drive business objectives
• Oversee quality systems including CAPA, deviations, investigations, change controls, and risk management
• Manage supplier and contract manufacturer quality activities
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across quality and manufacturing operations
• Establish and monitor quality metrics and organizational performance indicators
• Develop and mentor quality leadership teams while fostering a strong culture of compliance and accountability
• Provide executive-level guidance on product quality, regulatory risk, and quality strategy

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific or engineering discipline required
• 15+ years of Quality leadership experience within pharmaceutical, consumer health, nutraceutical, biotechnology, animal health, or other regulated manufacturing environments
• Significant experience leading both Quality Assurance and Quality Control organizations
• Strong understanding of FDA regulations, cGMP requirements, and quality systems
• Proven track record leading regulatory inspections and customer audits
• Experience managing large teams and influencing cross-functional stakeholders
• Executive leadership experience with responsibility for strategy, budgeting, and organizational development preferred
