Building Services Technician / Haustechniker (m/f/d)

We are supporting an established organisation looking to strengthen its on-site Facilities & Building Services team with an experienced Building Services Technician / Haustechniker.

This is a hands-on technical position responsible for maintaining the safe and reliable operation of building systems across a professional facility. The role would suit someone from an Electrical, HVAC/HKLS, Building Services or Facilities Engineering background who enjoys troubleshooting problems and taking ownership of technical issues.

The role

• Operate, monitor and maintain key building services and technical infrastructure.
• Perform planned and preventative maintenance across building systems.
• Diagnose and resolve technical faults and equipment issues.
• Carry out repairs and corrective maintenance where appropriate.
• Coordinate and oversee specialist contractors and external service providers.
• Ensure technical work is completed in accordance with relevant regulations and safety requirements.
• Support the continued availability and reliability of critical building systems.
• Participate in an on-call rota for technical issues outside standard operating hours.
• Work closely with the wider Facilities and Technical Services team.

Your background

• Technical apprenticeship, vocational qualification or technician-level training within Electrical Engineering, HVAC/HKLS, Building Services, Facilities Engineering or a related discipline.
• Previous hands-on experience maintaining building services or facility infrastructure.
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Understanding of relevant technical and safety regulations.
• Experience working with external contractors/service providers.
• Comfortable using CAFM systems and Microsoft Office.
• Good German language skills and basic English.
