Job Description
The Senior Clinical Science Specialist will be responsible for managing key accounts across South Carolina, building relationships with healthcare providers, and executing strategic territory plans. This individual will serve as a clinical and commercial expert while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business objectives and improve patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Achieve or exceed territory sales objectives and KPIs.
- Develop strategic relationships with physicians, health systems, and key stakeholders.
- Navigate complex healthcare organizations including hospitals and IDNs.
- Execute territory and account plans using data-driven insights.
- Partner cross-functionally to address customer needs and support patient care.
- Conduct compliant clinical and product-focused discussions.
- Analyze customer and market trends to optimize territory performance.
Requirements
- 8+ years of life sciences experience.
- 5+ years in specialty or rare disease markets.
- 3+ years of specialty biopharma sales experience.
- GI and/or Hepatology experience preferred.
- Demonstrated track record of sales success.
- Strong understanding of specialty payer and clinical landscapes.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and territory management skills.
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
