Senior Informatics Sales Specialist - Chicago

Our client, a leading organization in the Commercial Life Sciences sector, is looking to add a Senior Informatics Sales Specialist to our client's team. This permanent role is based in Chicago and focused on driving growth across the Midwest, partnering with laboratories and life science organizations to deliver advanced informatics solutions. You will be a key commercial contributor, travelling up to 50% of the time to build relationships, demonstrate value, and close complex sales.

Key Skills & Experience

• Life Sciences - Proven experience within the life sciences sector, understanding laboratory workflows, scientific stakeholders, and regulatory environments.
• Sales - Strong track record in consultative B2B sales, capable of managing full sales cycles and achieving commercial targets.
• Chicago / Midwest presence - Based in Chicago with the ability to cover the wider Midwest territory, comfortable with approximately 50% travel.
• Laboratory background - Hands-on lab experience or deep familiarity with lab operations, enabling credible discussions with scientific and technical users.
• SaaS or LIMS sales - Experience selling software-as-a-service or laboratory information management systems (LIMS), including solution demonstrations and configuration discussions.
