Oncology Account Manager - PA

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Oncology Account Manager to join a growing commercial team focused on advancing care for patients with rare hematologic and oncologic diseases. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role within a newly established therapeutic area and help shape the success of an expanding oncology franchise.

As a key member of the field sales organization, you will build relationships with healthcare professionals, educate stakeholders on disease states and treatment pathways, support patient access initiatives, and contribute to the successful launch and growth of innovative therapies. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients facing serious and underserved conditions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive adoption of innovative rare disease therapies across hematology and oncology practices through both in-person and virtual engagement.
  • Build awareness of rare disease conditions, available treatment options, and patient support resources.
  • Educate healthcare providers on treatment access and prescribing pathways while collaborating with patient support and access teams.
  • Identify and develop relationships with key opinion leaders and influential stakeholders within the oncology and hematology community.
  • Execute territory-level business plans, product launch activities, and marketing initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Medical Affairs, Marketing, Market Access, and Commercial Leadership to align field strategy and share market insights.
  • Maintain accurate CRM documentation and reporting while ensuring compliance with all company policies and industry regulations.
  • Analyze territory performance and deliver strategic quarterly business plans to drive growth.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Experience within hematology, oncology, and/or rare disease markets required.
  • Proven success in biopharmaceutical or specialty pharmaceutical sales.
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently meet or exceed sales objectives.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience utilizing CRM systems and territory analytics.
  • Collaborative, ethical, and highly motivated team player.
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 70% within the assigned territory.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
