What You Will Do

  • Collaborate with the General Manager to implement the organization's vision and regional strategy, ensuring achievement of goals and revenue targets.
  • Provide regular updates to the General Manager on performance by territory, aligning with strategic objectives to support revenue growth.
  • Lead the regional sales team (approximately 5 Key Account Managers), ensuring they meet revenue and growth targets.
  • Implement commercial excellence strategies, including sales analysis and data interpretation, to achieve regional budgets.
  • Develop remediation plans for under performance and work with leadership to adjust strategies as needed.
  • Partner with Key Account Managers in the field to understand territory challenges, remove obstacles, and provide feedback to marketing teams (approximately 3-4 days per week).
  • Execute local marketing plans and support event management, including congresses, workshops, hospital meetings, and other promotional activities.
  • Work closely with medical and scientific teams to support key opinion leaders with clinical evidence while leveraging commercial strategies.
  • Identify and address developmental needs of the sales team, creating learning plans, recommending training solutions, and providing mentoring and coaching.
  • Define roles, responsibilities, and measurable outcomes for the sales team, while identifying high-potential individuals for advancement.
  • Oversee selling efforts within the assigned geographic area, maximising sales and minimising expenses to meet revenue and cost targets.
  • Develop and implement strategies to create new business opportunities and strengthen key accounts.
  • Provide input on customer strategies and coordinate territory business plans, including marketing campaigns and event participation.
  • Collaborate with other functional departments (e.g., marketing, tender, medical) to align business planning.
  • Direct promotional activities within the assigned geographic or therapeutic area.
  • Build strong relationships with key opinion leaders locally and nationally to influence prescribing policies and protocols.
  • Ensure effective monitoring systems are in place to evaluate sales force performance (e.g., CRM tools).
  • Apply strong business acumen to analyse industry trends, competitor practices, and market dynamics.
  • Represent the company at professional events and promote products during such engagements.
  • Foster a positive team culture that emphasises engagement, accountability, and urgency.
