Location: United States (Remote)
Compensation: $180,000 - $190,000

Overview

We are seeking a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to join a growing field medical team and serve as a trusted scientific resource for healthcare professionals, researchers, and key opinion leaders. This is an opportunity to play a highly visible role supporting scientific exchange, medical education, clinical development activities, and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate will bring strong scientific expertise, excellent communication skills, and a passion for advancing meaningful conversations across the medical community.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders, investigators, and academic institutions across the United States, serving as a trusted scientific partner.
• Deliver fair-balanced, non-promotional scientific and clinical information to healthcare professionals while supporting medical education initiatives and commercial training programs.
• Support clinical development and medical affairs activities through insight gathering, clinical trial education, advisory board participation, and engagement at scientific congresses.
• Provide strategic field insights to internal cross-functional teams, including Commercial, Clinical Operations, Regulatory, and R&D, to help inform medical strategy.

Qualifications

• Advanced scientific degree required (PharmD, PhD, MD, or equivalent in a life sciences discipline).
• 1-3 years of Medical Science Liaison experience required; 5-8 years preferred within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical device industry.
• Strong understanding of clinical research, scientific exchange, and regulatory/compliance requirements governing field medical activities.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, analytical, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Preferred Experience

• Therapeutic area experience within CNS, specifically psychiatry.
• Experience supporting product launches and field-based educational initiatives.

Compensation & Travel

• Competitive salary of $180,000 - $190,000.
• Ability to travel 60-80%, including overnight travel and conference attendance.
