Medical Publication Contractor

  • Develop and execute Medical Information strategies , including annual planning, launch support activities, insights analysis, response development, review, and approval management.
  • Lead strategic publication planning across assigned products, creating and maintaining annual publication plans based on stakeholder input, study data, scientific evidence, and business priorities.
  • Drive the end-to-end development of scientific publications, including manuscripts, abstracts, posters, podcasts, author videos, plain language summaries, and other scientific communication materials.
  • Provide scientific and quality oversight by reviewing publication content for scientific accuracy, integrity, consistency, and compliance with ICMJE and Good Publication Practice guidelines.
  • Manage stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration, coordinating with medical advisors, publication managers, therapeutic area leads, investigators, agencies, and evidence teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Track publication performance, project status, and budgets, reporting metrics and insights, facilitating regular update meetings, maintaining publication plans, and ensuring adherence to approved budgets and statements of work.
  • Demonstrate deep therapeutic area expertise across Cardio-Renal-Metabolic (CRM) disease areas, supporting publication strategy, scientific communications, medical information activities, and evidence dissemination across complex portfolios. Leverage a strong understanding of cardiovascular, renal, metabolic, obesity, diabetes, and related disease states to translate clinical data into impactful scientific narratives that support medical and business objectives.
  • Operate effectively within a highly dynamic, global stakeholder environment, managing competing priorities and collaborating across multiple functions, regions, and organizational levels. Partner with Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, HEOR, RWE, Regulatory Affairs, Commercial, Market Access, investigators, key opinion leaders, and external vendors to align diverse perspectives, drive consensus, and ensure the successful delivery of strategic publication and communication initiatives in a fast-paced setting.
