Medical Director, Cardiac Electrophysiology

Location: Boston, MA or Minneapolis, MN

EPM Scientific is partnered with a global leader in innovative medical technology, seeking an experienced cardiac electrophysiologist for a strategic Medical Affairs and Patient Safety leadership position supporting electrophysiology and structural heart programs across the product lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

• Represent the organization externally, engaging with KOLs, investigators, and regulators, as well as at advisory boards, roundtables, and national and international conferences
• Partner with R&D, Clinical Development, Regulatory, and Commercial teams to provide medical expertise and support for cross-functional initiatives
• Provide medical oversight for clinical trials, including protocol design, investigator identification and engagement, and data interpretation and dissemination
• Support post-market activities including safety studies, performance assessments, and health risk analyses
• Contribute to the evaluation of business development opportunities
• Review scientific, clinical, and promotional materials for accuracy and compliance

Qualifications and Skills:

• MD or equivalent with active U.S. licensure
• Board certified in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology
• 5+ years of independent clinical experience in Cardiac Electrophysiology
• Experience with complex arrhythmias and advanced procedures
• Clinical investigator experience or participation in oversight committees is strongly preferred
• Familiarity with U.S. and international medical device regulations is strongly preferred

Compensation and Benefits:

• Base salary of $240,000-$300,000
• 25% annual target bonus
