Field Application Engineer

A fast-growing technology company is seeking an Field Applications Engineer to support customer implementation and optimization of advanced analytical technology within semiconductor manufacturing environments. The role combines customer-facing technical support, application development, troubleshooting, project management, and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Working directly with customers to understand technical challenges and application requirements.
• Developing and optimizing applications through lab testing, on-site experiments, and workflow improvements.
• Leading customer projects and coordinating internal stakeholders.
• Troubleshooting technical issues and analysing performance data. * Delivering training, documentation, and best practices.
• Presenting technical findings to customers and internal teams. * Supporting customers through regular domestic travel.

Requirements

• Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or a related field.
• Experience with semiconductor manufacturing, contamination control, materials characterization, or analytical instrumentation.
• Background developing, optimizing, or supporting advanced technology solutions.
• Strong problem-solving and data analysis skills; Python experience is beneficial. * Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Fluent English and Mandarin.
• Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing environments and industry standards.
• Willingness to travel regularly.
