Our client is a leading provider of aseptic fill-finish automation solutions serving the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, CDMO, and compounding pharmacy markets. The organization designs and manufactures advanced liquid filling systems, automated handling equipment, capping and closing technologies, isolator solutions, and other critical manufacturing systems used within highly regulated production environments.
Position Overview
We are seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth across the Western US region. This individual will be responsible for both developing new business opportunities and expanding existing customer relationships within pharmaceutical manufacturing, biotechnology, CDMO, and compounding pharmacy accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute territory growth strategies across the Northeast/New England region.
- Identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities within pharmaceutical, biotech, CDMO, and compounding pharmacy customers.
- Manage and grow existing customer relationships while expanding share of wallet within key accounts.
- Promote and sell aseptic processing, liquid filling, automated handling, and related manufacturing equipment solutions.
- Build relationships with stakeholders across Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations, Quality, Validation, Procurement, and Executive Leadership teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proven success in business development, territory management, or technical sales within life sciences manufacturing environments.
- Experience selling capital equipment, automation systems, process equipment, or other technical manufacturing solutions.
- Established relationships within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, CDMO, or compounding pharmacy markets preferred.
