Responsibilities:
- Directly responsible for the sales of assigned product(s) within respective franchise team within their entire geography, including academic institutions and community practices.
- Develops and leads the execution of a strategic business plan to achieve their sales target within their geography.
- Provide in territory customer service support related to reimbursement and billing activities.
- Targeted customers may be in both Community Oncology as well as Academic Centers.
- Promotes highly technical and innovative product(s) to a sophisticated audience while being dedicated to meeting and exceeding sales objectives.
- Represents a consistent Patient First approach to business activities and relationships.
- Responsible for the education and sales of product(s) to physicians, pharmacists, nurses, and other health care providers (HCPs).
- Work closely with Scientific Liaison (SL), Thought Leader Liaison (TLL), Device Support Specialists, in-house Reimbursement, Sales Operations, and the US Business Team.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the pharma/biotech/medical device industry with a proven track record of success.
- Experience selling in Oncology required.
- Knowledge of the oncology healthcare providers and institutions within the territory
- Minimum of an undergraduate degree required. Advanced degree preferred.
- Positive, energetic attitude and initiative with strong work ethic.
- A keen attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to adjust quickly to business needs and customer demands.
- 40-60% travel on a weekly basis.
