Team Leader - Virus Production for Vaccine (M/W/D)

Currently we are supporting a Global Biopharmaceutical Company that are looking to expand its operations in Germany and therefore looking for a Team Leader specialized in Virus Production for Vaccine.

Essential Job Functions:
*Set up, develop and lead a team.
*Proactive attitude towards self-development and process understanding and willingness to transfer them to colleagues and team members.
*Work in cross-divisional teams and accompany the commissioning and qualification of the new production equipment, as well as the creation of batch protocols.
*Support the development and implementation of a theoretical and practical training program and work on the preparation of manufacturing instructions.
*Responsibility over the GMP production of the viruses for the vaccine.
*Set up and organize your team and ensuring its training standards in regards of GMP and occupational safety.
*Perform on the production planning.
*Support in the investigation of deviation, CAPAs and change requests.
Education:
*Education as a laboratory assistant, BTA / CTA / PTA or a Bachelor degree and above in the biotechnology or biology, other related fields, or equivalent experience.
Experience:
*5 years working experience preferred.
*Relevant knowledge or experience in GMP production (vaccine or biopharmaceutical).
*Have strong knowledge in sterile work with mammalian cell cultures or virus purification.
*Allowance for weekend / holidays in a two-shift system.
*Feel identified with values such as: integrity, honesty and perseverance.
*Good communication skills both in English and German desired.
