Sr. Principal Biostatistician, Needed for Expanding Biotech Company

An expanding pharmaceutical company is looking to hire a Sr. Principal Level Biostatistician that would be able to translate complex clinical research data using statistical software in order to interpret statistical data for clinical development teams as needed.
The company prefers for organic growth so there is no ceiling for career progression. This is strictly an expansion hire; it is something that will be tailored around the right candidate.
The Sr. Principal Biostatistician will have responsibilities that include:
- Acting as a resource regarding statistical data for clinical and other relevant departments
- Being responsible for the development of new statistical analysis plans as well as other programming procedures
- Serving as a lead for statistical projects and studies
- Writing program code in order to analyze data using various analysis software
- Demonstrating understanding of company SOPs, as well as other guidelines
- Ensuring that all biostatistical methods are in compliance with regulatory regulations
- Developing sampling plans and statistical models in order to support product release specifications
The ideal candidate will have the following skill set:
- Ph.D. or M.S. in Biostatistics or related field
- 5+ years in biostatistics in life sciences preferred
- Experience with managing complex statistical data and with analytic statistical software
- Experience SAS programming, R coding, and/or SQL
- Medical device experience preferred, but not required
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Advanced scientific degree strongly preferred
