A leading Biotechnology Research organization is seeking a driven, strategic, and customer-oriented Solution Sales Specialist to oversee their software solution across the West Coast. This will be apart of their informatics group working with a cutting-edge piece of software.
This opportunity is fully remote (preferably based on the West Coast for customer accounts time zone purposes), with 20% travel. This individual will be responsible for working closely with internal account managers and external customers (new and existing).
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the internal cross-functional partners to build sales pipeline.
- Reach out to leads through conferences, marketing campaigns, customer referrals, and webinars.
- Drive new business and maximize revenue.
Requirements:
- BS or MS degree in Chemistry is required. (Masters preferred)
- 3 years sales experience required, 5 years preferred
- Proficient in Salesforce and Microsoft Office.
- Experience working closely with Scifinder and/or Reaxys is a +
- Excellent Communication and Presentation skills. Ability to be an incredible networker internally and externally.
