Role: Senior Pharmaceutical Recruiter
Location: Remote
Length: 12-month contract w/ extension possibilities
My client is a global pharmaceutical company with sites located in New Jersey, US and Tokyo, Japan. They focus in the therapeutic areas of oncology and neurology. They are looking for a Senior Pharmaceutical Recruiter to join their team on 12-month contract w/ extension possibilities. This position can sit fully remote. Upon speaking with the hiring manager, a qualified candidate must have a minimum of 8 years of pharmaceutical industry experience within recruiting/talent acquisition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform full lifecycle recruiting and maintain excellent relations with hiring managers and candidates
- Manage requisitions, conduct assessments, source and review resumes, create job posting and oversee entire processes
- Facilitate candidates' phone screens to progress to hiring manager interviews. Create prescreening questions to hiring managers for collaboration and approval
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with different leaders, vendors, community organizations, and other team members to create partnerships
- Utilize online recruiting sites and resources, as well as different ATS (applicant tracking systems) to recruit top talent
- Interview candidates using behavioral-based interviewing questions
- Extend offers of employment to candidates, following the company's compensation policy
- Manage the presentation, selection, offer negotiation and closing, and administrative components involved in full lifecycle recruiting
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required. MBA or Master's degree preferred
- Minimum of 8 years of recruiting/talent acquisition experience in a pharmaceutical industry
- Oncology experience is a plus, not required
- Experience with ATS required
- Expert in full lifecycle recruiting, including sourcing, qualifying, networking, and assessing candidates.
- Knowledgeable with EEO compliance and federal and state laws
