Senior Manager, Commercial Forecasting Oncology
A leading global biotech based in the LA Area are currently expanding their forecasting team for a lead asset within their Oncology business unit.
Responsibilities
- This role will report to the Oncology Commercial Forecasting Director within the Global Commercial
Data & Analytics organization in Thousand Oaks, California
- Provide an objective and rigorous point of view to demand and patient based forecasting for pipeline and inline products for the US market
- Independently lead quick turnaround projects and deliver quality assessments, collaborating with Senior Leadership with limited guidance or oversight
- Demonstrate strong project management, prioritization and timeline execution across projects when working independently as well as when working with the vendors or internal teams
- Ensure all forecasts are developed with detailed rationale, assumptions and storyboarding
- Demonstrate excellent communication, presentation, MS PowerPoint & Excel skills
- Support pre-launch, post-launch forecasting efforts at product and oncology portfolio level and work seamlessly with cross-functional teams
- Lead and own the development of Brand Plan and Long Range Plan (LRP) forecasts, ad-hoc forecasting requests and support commercial assessment of in-licensing products on need-basis
- Working knowledge of forecasting inputs including global pricing, access and reimbursement policies, and competitive environment and potential impact on product development and commercialization strategy
Experience requirements:
Doctorate degree and 2 years of analytics and/or forecasting experience
Master's degree and 4 years of analytics and/or forecasting experience
Bachelor's degree and 6 years of analytics and/or forecasting experience
