Responsibilities
The Senior Analytical Scientist will be responsible for leading analytical development projects, designing and executing experiments, and providing technical expertise in analytical methods development and characterization.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and validating analytical methods for biologics products
- Conducting analytical testing, including HPLC, CE-SDS, and ELISA
- Analyzing and interpreting data, and preparing reports and presentations
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support product development and regulatory filings
- Leading and mentoring junior staff members
Skills
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- A Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field with 5+ years of experience in analytical development for biologics products
- Strong expertise in protein and monoclonal antibody characterization
- Experience with analytical techniques such as HPLC, CE-SDS, and ELISA
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Experience leading projects and mentoring junior staff members
Additional Information
This is a permanent, full-time position based in Boston, MA with a salary of $125,000 to $150,000 plus annual bonus based on company and individual performance. The company offers a competitive benefits package, including health insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off. This role will be hybrid with 2-3 days per week WFH flexibile based on scheduling.
