The Senior Account Manager main purpose is to work directly with the Account and Medical Affairs staff and other members of the internal team to execute product marketing messages in various forms.
Responsibilities:
- Act as an team player by showing a strong competence level in the execution of all aspects of the account
- Speaker and KOL management in which the role is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of the development process
- Direct content with both speakers and clients, development of speaker communications and materials for use in training and promotional events, management of speaker profile data, and execution of speaker contracting and training processes
- Their primary purpose is to take charge of the execution of projects, demonstrate a good understanding of the science and therapeutic category, master the internal systems and processes, and maintain a strong working relationship with the client
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 3-6+ years' experience in a medical communications
- Project and people management experience and be able to demonstrate a firm understanding of the medical education program life cycle from conception through implementation
- Experience in promotional medical education (advisory boards, KOL advocacy development, speaker training, field driven medical education, non-personal promotions) with a proven track record in organically growing assigned accounts
