Role: Senior Research Associate (In Vivo)
Location: San Francisco Bay Area
Length: Contract to hire FTE
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle in vivo experiments in support of lead identification and optimization (including PK-TE, PK-PD, efficacy endpoints)
- Collaborate effectively with research team to develop and optimize in vivo models
- Analyze workflows and assay performance in order to increase efficiency and accuracy of generated data
- Proficient in data analysis tools (Excel, Prism, FlowJo) and document data in electronic lab notebook
- Communicate and collaborate with team members regarding study designs and plans.
- Participate in weekly lab meetings and present results
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's in a relevant scientific field with 2-5 years of industry experience
- Experience with rodent disease models (IACUC submission, study design and execution, data processing, and presentation)
- Proficient in tissue processing and analytical analysis (flow cytometry, ELISA, qPCR)
- Experience in in vivo mice research (dosing routes, anesthesia, necropsy, tissue processing)
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and multi-tasking skills
- Self-starter, energetic, and adaptable personality
