The Patient Relations Specialist will be responsible for:
- Receiving inbound calls/emails and performing outbound calls to patients and family members regarding treatment and non-clinical inquiries
- Escalating inbound calls/emails to relevant cross functional teams
- Reporting into the Director, North America Operations and collaborating with members of the clinical, financial specialist, safety, and other related teams
- Refer new and existing patients to the Patient Assistance Program
- Using Salesforce and Excel to analyze and report weekly on changes in treatment status and statistics
Requirements:
- AT LEAST 2 years of experience in health care setting
- High emotional intelligence and ability to think on your feet
- Experience with data management and analytics
- Understanding of HIPAA laws and compliance
- Proficient in Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
- Self-motivated, can work independently if necessary
- A Bachelor's degree in Communications, Healthcare, Biological Sciences, Nursing, Pharmacy or a related discipline
