Medical Communications Analyst
11 month contract (With extension possibilities)
Location : Remote
Responsibilities
1. Ensure timely capture of compendia monograph updates for all products and competitors identified across specified compendia on a routine basis (ranging from daily to quarterly), as specified per a compendia surveillance schedule to be provided by the company
2. Utilize special software to assist in the identification of compendia monograph updates
3. Report material changes and conduct analyses of updates, cross-referencing with product prescribing information
4. Provide summaries of updates for internal evaluation within 24 hours of update capture
5. Conduct and provide ad hoc analyses of compendia listings, including indications and dosing, across company products and competitors as requested
6. Review and summarize data, create new version or update current version of payer and formulary decision-maker deliverables, and provide all supporting information (including highlighted/annotated materials and reference binders as appropriate)
7. Conduct literature searches and consolidate results for payer and formulary decision-maker deliverables, when appropriate
8. Support the coordination with cross-functional teams to create, update, and review clinical and health economic product data for HOPE Specialist resources, and identify relevant data for submission to drug information and formulary organizations as subject matter expert for the assigned product(s).
9. Provide support for scientific advisory boards and other meetings, and organized customer team semester meetings.
Education/Experience
* Master's degree or higher e.g., PharmD, PhD, MD, or DO with relevant experience in clinical research, patient care, clinical development, Medical/Scientific Affairs, and/or basic research.
* 3+ years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, medical/healthcare consultant, managed care or other payer organization (e.g., integrated delivery network, drug information service)

* Healthcare background (pharma, public health, medical device) ≥ 4 years
* Medical writing background with ability to interpret statistical/medical data with high degree of accuracy and communicate (verbal and written) medical information at a high level. Experience writing clinical study abstracts would be beneficial
* Demonstrated organization skills
* Self-motivated, conscientious worker with ability to operate without direction
* Software proficiency, MS Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel), Smartsheet (optional)
* Background as a liaison to service providers
