Lab Automation Specialist (m/f/d)
Our client discovers and develops targeted radio-pharmaceuticals providing a focused and personalised approach to the treatment of cancer. They have built a technology platform extending from hit identification to early clinical development. They specialise in peptide discovery and optimisation.
Your tasks:
* Development, implementation and validation of new standalone and integrated automation systems for our client's hit identification and screening platform
* Extension and optimisation of existing standalone automation including KingFisher and Andrew Alliance systems
* Collaboration with scientists to identify unmet needs and new automation solutions to address them
* Coordination of maintenance and QA on automated equipment
* Training of new users to operate equipment, prepare SOPs, and provide technical support
Your qualifications:
* A passion for lab automation challenges
* Advanced technical skills
* Excellent troubleshooting skills on robotic equipment
* Prior experience integrating automation solutions
* Comfortable working in a dynamic environment
* 'Can-Do' attitude
* A holistic mindset considering all aspects of lab automation such as time to implement, manual elements in the work-flow, setup and operational costs
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* B.S. or M.S. in Science or Engineering with 2+ years of automation experience
* Experience with database integration with the automated platforms, and knowledge of programming languages like C++, Python are a plus.
