Position Summary:
Our client is seeking a talented and experienced Copy Supervisor to join their pharmaceutical advertising team. As a Copy Supervisor, you will play a vital role in developing compelling and compliant copy for various promotional materials within the pharmaceutical industry. Your expertise in crafting persuasive and impactful messaging will contribute to the success of our advertising campaigns and brand promotion efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Copy Development: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including creative directors, art directors, and account managers, to develop persuasive and compliant copy for pharmaceutical advertising campaigns across multiple channels (print, digital, social media, etc.).
- Compliance and Regulatory Guidelines: Ensure all copy meets the strict regulatory guidelines of the pharmaceutical industry, such as FDA regulations, while maintaining creativity and impact.
- Brand Strategy: Work closely with brand managers and account teams to understand brand objectives and develop copy that aligns with brand messaging and positioning.
- Supervision and Collaboration: Lead and supervise a team of copywriters, providing guidance, feedback, and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality copy that meets client expectations and project deadlines.
- Proofreading and Editing: Review and edit copy to ensure accuracy, clarity, grammar, and adherence to brand guidelines and industry best practices.
- Market Research and Insights: Stay updated with the latest market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to inform copy development and enhance campaign effectiveness.
- Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring effective communication, prioritization, and coordination with internal teams and external stakeholders to meet project milestones.
- Client Relationships: Collaborate with clients, attend meetings, and present copy concepts and creative solutions, incorporating client feedback into copy development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a copywriter or in a similar role within the pharmaceutical advertising industry.
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations and guidelines, including FDA regulations, and experience in developing compliant copy for pharmaceutical advertising materials.
- Proven ability to develop persuasive and impactful copy across various channels, tailoring messaging to different target audiences and platforms.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a keen eye for detail and adherence to brand voice and guidelines.
- Supervisory or team leadership experience, with the ability to mentor and guide a team of copywriters.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools, such as Microsoft Office Suite and advertising-specific platforms.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, clients, and stakeholders.
