Formulation Principal Scientist- Upstream
- Location: Thousand Oaks, California
- Working situation: Remote
Interested in joining a medium size biopharmaceutical company with high growth potential and leading an innovate team of scientists. This position will require good leadership skills and is capabale to maintain GMPs.
The ideal person will have strong background in mammalian cell culture expansion and can work with a wide range like shake flask, ambr250, 2L through 200L scales SUB's. Also, must be able to effectively lead a team of scientists, and capable of working with other departments inside the facility.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of innovative scientists
- Uphold GMPs
- Capable of working with mammalian cells
- Effective reporting of and presentation of data
- Conducting rigorous experimental design, data analysis, and documentation
- Work with leadership to implement critical decisions
- Support Developmental training and mentoring of PD staff
Qualifications:
- Ph.D or Master in biological Sciences or related fields
- At least 8 years of industry experience
- Strong track record of peer-reviewed papers
- Shows a strong leaderships skill in past
- Managerial experience is not required but is highly preferred
- Has a constructive and positive attitude
- Has excellent communication skills and presentations skills
