This position will focus as the primary Medical point of coordination for Oncology with large Oncology group practices, academic centers and regional integrated delivery networks that have a focus on Oncology and Hematology.
The position is looking for a Medical Affairs or Commercial professional with a strong network across key centers in the NYC Metro Area. Such as Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, NY Presbyterian, Herbert Irving Cancer Center HICCC and the Cancer Center at St Barnabas.
This is a critical role in the Oncology business unit of a rapidly growing oncology team. The role will report in to an experienced leader and is looking to bring on board an expert in medical institution account manager.
This position sits in the Medical Affairs team, working closely with MSLs, HEOR as well as close interaction with field sales and TLLs.
Role Responsibilities:
Serves as the primary Medical Oncology interface with higher level decision-makers in large Oncology group practices, and regional integrated delivery networks
Establishes relationships and maintains effective communication with provider networks, research directors, quality, service line and pharmacy directors
Develop and execute a Scientific Account Plan for key accounts: build and enhance understanding of customer population-management strategies
Basic Qualifications:
7 years of pharmaceutical experience required (medical, R&D, health outcomes)
3-5 years working with US Payer or Institutional customers in a field-based medical role - preferably national or large payers and/or health systems
Preferred Qualifications:
Pharm D, PhD, M.P.H., M.S. or equivalent education.
3+ years of recent and relevant oncology experience
