Director/ Senior Director Project Management

Position Overview:
This role plays a pivotal part within the development team, necessitating collaboration across various functional departments to formulate a unified development strategy. As a Direcotr / Senior Director PM you will present the opportunity to establish a Project Management team as the company expands. Reprots directly into the VP of Clinical Operation.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and collaborate with Program Leads to engage cross-functional teams in achieving successful project milestones and fulfilling the clients business objectives.
- Additionally, provide support in addressing program-level challenges spanning from pre-IND to NDA submission timelines.
- Take the helm in leading projects of diverse scales and intricacies, customizing project management methodologies to suit the project's specific scope.
- Offer support for a range of projects, spanning from new product development to technology infrastructure, based on the clients evolving priorities in its rapid expansion.
- Create and uphold project plans, schedules, and resource tracking mechanisms for assigned projects.
- Collaborate closely with Program Leads to facilitate strategic discussions across functions, particularly concerning project timing, resource allocation, and budgeting.
- Provide assistance to the Finance department as necessary in managing overall project costs.
- Ensure alignment and synergy between core project teams and relevant stakeholders.
- Collaborate with core teams to maintain and enhance Design and Project History Files.
- Oversee and ensure compliance with pertinent company policies and procedures.
- Develop suitable tools to monitor project and deliverable status, fostering accountability and transparency.
Experience:
- Possess a Bachelor's Degree; an advanced degree in a scientific field is considered advantageous.
- While PMP certification is preferred, it is not mandatory.
- Accumulated over 10 years of experience within the pharmaceutical or biotech development sector.
- A proven track record of over 5 years involving working on and managing projects within the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry.
- Demonstrated capability to lead and collaborate across various functions, which may include Clinical, Clinical Operations, Regulatory, Pre-clinical, CMC, Quality, and Drug Discovery, specifically for the management of processes mentioned earlier.
- Proficiency in utilizing one or more project management scheduling tools (e.g., MS Project) and MS Office.
- Substantial experience in leading teams through every phase of the development process, from initiating IND enabling workstreams to planning NDA submissions.
- A documented history of experience in people management or mentoring.
