Company Summary: A revolutionary clinical stage biotech company with an innovative pipeline is seeking a motivated Director/Sr. Director, Clinical Operations for a remote role. Based in San Francisco Bay, this company has 4 promising, ongoing protein therapeutics programs that are the basis of their science and innovation. Founded in 2010, they have 3 Phase 1 and 1 Phase 2 IO programs. They are looking for a driven, growth-oriented Director or Sr. Director to facilitate their immuno-oncology programs on a global scale.
The Director/Sr. Director will be responsible for:
- Heading up the Clinical Operations team
- Strategic Planning:
- Develop and execute strategic plans for clinical trial operations, ensuring alignment with the company's overall goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with the cross-functional "core" teams to integrate clinical operations strategies into broader development plans.
- Clinical Trial Management:
- Oversee the design, planning, and execution of clinical trials, including Phase I-III studies, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Leading the selection and management of Contract Research Organizations (CROs) and vendors involved in clinical trials.
- Monitor clinical trial progress and identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact timelines or data quality.
- Resource Management:
- Build and manage a high-performing clinical operations team, including hiring, training, and development of staff to oversee studies.
- Oversee the allocation of resources, including budget management and forecasting for clinical trial activities
An ideal candidate for this role MUST have…
- Bachelor's in biomedical science or medical related field
- MINIMUM 10 years of experience in clinical operations, significant experience in autoimmune, immunology, and immuno-oncology is a MUST
- 5-7 years of Senior Manager level experience
- 3+ years of sponsor and/or biotech experience in a managerial position
- Proven track record of successful leadership in managing and executing Phase II-III clinical trials
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and GCP guidelines.
