Digital, Commercial Data Specialist Associate Director
A global biotech company is looking for an Associate Director, Commercial Data Specialist in the greater Boston area. This role is a vital role in the Data, Analytics, and Insights team to support the evolution of the Commercial Organization's omni channel marketing capabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with Brand and Analytics teams to understand and support the plan and priorities in digital marketing and analytics
- Build short-term and long-term digital data strategy, maintains processes for evaluating and optimizing digital data sources, and define a roadmap for integrating digital data based on business objectives
- Assist the development of business requirements for digital data with franchise and analytics leads, support the development, documentation, and maintenance of business rules
- Enhance data architecture and create a common data model to synthesize disparate digital data sources such as website, mobile apps, among other to drive actionable insights
- Lead the development and implementation of a digital data management solution with Commercial IT to transform and standardize digital data for downstream consumption by brand teams, insights and analytics teams, and commercial operation teams
- Proactively manage expectations and issues directly with marketing and data vendors, coordinate with vendors to ensure data delivery at the right time, in the right format, with the right content; monitor and report on data quality and execute data quality corrective action
- Support the development of a robust KPI and reporting framework which enables standardized measurement across similar campaigns as well as provide answers to key business questions
- Support the development of a digital analytics platform and analytics ready data sets for provider and patient-focused digital campaigns, enable omni channel promotional planning, and support Marketing Mix analysis
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required
- Major in Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Business Management, Information Management, Operations Research, Engineering, or related subject
- 8+ years' experience managing data-related activities within a commercial organization
- Strong experience in data & platform related to digital and marketing data sets required
- Strong technical fluency in data modeling, SQL coding, and Excel required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Post-graduate degree
- Understand digital marketing communications and cross-channel activities including paid search, Pay Per Click, Search Engine Optimization, advertising campaigns and online promotions preferred
- Experience in architecting data solutions involving Web, Mobile, Social, Cloud applications across digital platforms
- Experience supporting various commercial business processes in the pharmaceutical industry including Marketing, Sales operations, Patient Services and Market Access
- Experience in data quality management tools (e.g Informatica IDQ, data modeling tools such as erwin Data Modeler, data visualization tools such as Tableau) and data science tools such as Python
- Working knowledge of MDM, CRM, Data Warehouse, AWS, Snowflake, Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Digital Marketing Platforms
- Experience with data governance programs
- Experience supporting marketing teams, commercial operations and analytics in CNS/Addiction
