About the role:
You will be responsible for the achievement of sales growth for the business in China. As our Country Manager, you will be instrumental in ensuring ambitious performance objectives are met across the country. These objectives include the achievement of Company revenue and profit targets, maximizing growth opportunities and helping steer the Company through a period of change.
You will ensure adherence to values, policies and business conduct requirements and legislation, and work to ensure a strong and collaborative team working culture and strategic alignment to Company strategies and initiatives. You'll also be responsible for:
- Driving sales of our product portfolio in China, achieving annual targets in terms of top line and profitability
- Managing sales with the partner and follow up in-market sales through all channels: wholesalers, pharmacy chains, hospitals, tenders and other commercial channels
- Identifying, proposing, and implementing novel ways to grow our business organically, including new product opportunities, sales and marketing initiatives at various levels and targeting different audiences (wholesalers, retailers, pharmacy chains, KOLs, specialists, prescribers etc.)
- Managing business planning and budgeting, in terms of volume and profitability for China
- Ensuring effective sales process management, and forecasting and reporting accuracy
- Developing an effective sales strategy and ensuring implementation and delivery, always overseeing sales performance
- Ensuring the successful achievement of Pharmanovia's sales goals in China, with ambition to exceed those targets
- Establishing promotional initiatives to retain and enhance client motivation
- Maintaining service levels to key stakeholders
- Maintaining thorough knowledge of the market, economic indicators, changing trends and competition
- Nurturing and managing existing relationships, to ensure longevity of profitable partnerships
- Establishing good relationships with the partner and building relevant personal networks, to ensure the Company exploits all appropriate sales channels
- Capturing increased market share and enhancing brand awareness in the territory, by working with the marketing function to define product and market strategy, enhance brand recognition, and maintain and build customer satisfaction
