Title: Clinical Project Director
Location: Malaysia / Taiwan
Overview: One of the leading, global CROs is currently growing and seeking a experienced Clinical Project Director to lead their new projects. As a Clinical Project Director, you act as a key decision-maker and make a real-world impact through active leadership in global clinical trials.
Responsibilities of a Clinical Project Director:
- Take the lead in managing project and ensuring the quality of trials for specific clients or therapeutic areas as assigned
- Oversee all parts of project delivery, quality and financial aspects, and manage sponsor expectations in all aspects
- Provide professional support and advice to project team members on project deliverables
- Direct the execution, review, reporting and prompt delivery in the operations of clinical trials
Requirements for a Clinical Project Director:
- Tertiary qualification in life-sciences related field
At least 10 years of experience in the clinical research industry - At least 5 years of leadership and project management experience, ideally in a CRO environment
- Experience in oncology and renal would be ideal
- Line management experience in project management or clinical operations would be good
- Outstanding professional knowledge of current ICH/GCP, ethical and regulatory standards
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills - Fluency in English is required.
- Able to travel domestically and globally
- Business acumen with experience in bid defence and budget preparation
- Proven ability to be client-centric, adaptable, detailed yet see the big picture
