A leading orthopedic medical device company who work with high-end and innovative products are on the hunt for a passionate and hardworking expert to join their team as a Business Unit Manager in surgical technologies for the DACH region. You will play a key role in the success and have a direct impact on growth of the business.
Responsibilities:
Develop and lead the commercial strategy for the Business Unit, by incorporating Marketing, Key Account Management, Flex Finance, ProCare Service Organization, and cross-divisional Collaboration into the plan, which ultimately delivers the financial targets.
Manage and own the P&L for the BU, including achieving sales revenue, margin and operating income annual targets.
Contribute to the creation of, and responsible for the execution of the annual marketing plan of the BU.
Proactively lead the team delivering high levels of engagement which translates into financial results. Being a strong developer of people, create a future pipeline of talent.
Manage key customer relationships (existing and new), aimed at retaining and growing the business and reputation ofthe company in the markets
Requirements:
10+ years overall Commercial experience.
Solid experience as Commercial or Division Business Unit Leader or Regional Sales Manager for a medical device business with proven career progression.
Direct selling experience preferred, ideally in the medical device industry; with a good knowledge of opinion leaders and of the main products and competitors.
Proven experience in delivering market share growth and financial commitments.
Experience in contributing and executing on a marketing budget and plan.
Demonstrated success in building, managing, motivating and developing strong sales teams with direct and/or indirect channels.
Demonstrated ability to build engagement and leverage performance management systems to reach business objectives; includes goal setting, performance planning and monitoring, coaching, feedback and performance review.
Educated to degree level and/or equivalent experiences.
Credible and confident communicator (written, verbal and presentation)
- Ability to travel through the DACH region (70%)
