My client is a leading Biopharma Company that manufactures recombinant proteins and other critical reagents to support scientific developments.
Already with presence outside of China, the company is highly invested in growing their business in the Europe region. They have achieved more than 70% growth in revenue over the past year and are looking to onboard a Business Development Director/Head of Business Development who will be an intergral addition in helping them achieve their growth plans ahead.
This position can be based in Beijing, China or Germany, Europe and they are open to relocating candidates within/outside of these countries.
Responsibilities:
- Propose appropriate marketing and sales strategy based on the in-depth analysis of market trends, competition, customer behavior and company situation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local distributors and critical customers. Provide timely training and appropriate solutions with the help of internal or external resources in order to imiprove customer base and brand exposure.
- Establish local distributor management system and assign annual sales targets for each distributor
- Achieve sales income that meet targets in European, Asia and Pacific markets
Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in biology/medical or related background required (preferably with Masters, Ph. D)
- Strong track record and backround in business development or related experience in the biotech or pharma industry; significant results (Preferably no break in between careers)
- Overseas experience will be preferred
- Fluency in English
