Job Description:
As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for leading bioinformaticians on various projects while working closely with other departments such as R&D. You must have experience implementing new technologies into existing workflows successfully.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day activities related to data analysis
- Collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams
- Develop analytics strategies by collaborating with stakeholders from different functional areas including Research & Development (R&D), Experimental Medicine etc.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- A Ph.D./M.S degree or equivalent work experience in computational biology/bioinformatics/genetics/statistics or related fields required
Experience leading complex bioinformatic analyses using high-performance computing infrastructure preferred
Skills Required:
The following skills/experience would make an ideal fit for this role;
1. Strong knowledge of next-generation sequencing techniques
2. Knowledge of programming languages like Python/R/Matlab
3.Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
4.Ability to lead multiple concurrent project efforts
