AD/Director of Process Development
Company Summary: A small antibody engineering company is currently seeking a driven, motivated, and multi-faceted Associate Director/Director to lead process development of their novel oncology therapeutic candidates in their pipeline. This role will be located in the San Francisco Bay Area. You will play a key role in working with a team in the process development of antibodies and antibody-conjugates.
The Director will be responsible for:
- Collaborating with teams of senior scientists, process managers, and process engineers across various cross-disciplinary teams such as Quality, Regulatory, etc.
- Serving as SME in bioprocessing and CMC development/manufacturing of antibody and antibody-conjugates.
- Ensuring internal and external relationships are nurtured so that process technology transfer activities run smoothly
- Improving the efficiency and supporting the innovation of process technologies
The Director should have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with 18+ years of related experience/Master's degree with 15+ years of experience/PhD with 10+ years of experience
- Experience in PC, PPQ, and other late-stage development activities and ability to apply DoE approaches
- Prior experience working with CDMOs
- Comprehensive understanding regulatory filings (IND/IMPD)
