Associate Director, Medical Information

The Medical Information Associate Director directly impacts customer service by providing strategic oversight and clear scientific information about the products through engagement with internal colleagues, healthcare providers, patients, and caregivers. The Associate Director of Medical Information will be responsible for:
- Leading the coordination/execution of Medical Information strategy and adoption of best practice for assigned projects
- Managing, developing, reviewing, and maintaining Medical Information projects or operations for multiple products
- Utilizing advanced understanding of environmental changes to ensure ongoing innovation and operational efficiency; identifies need and implements the changes necessary for improvement
- Acting as the leader and mentor for a team of direct reports; comfortable nurturing and coaching more junior team members
The Associate Director of Medical Information must have the following qualifications:
- Terminal degree (PharmD, PhD)
- At least 7 years of clinical practice experience or pharmaceutical industry experience; some of this experience being in Medical Information
- Prior experience working in a management or team lead position
- Some clinical experience/solid understand of the Oncology, Haematology, or Immunology therapeutic areas
