The AD, PV Vendor Oversight will have the following responsibilities:
- Lead the Global Pharmacovigilance (PV) vendor oversight strategy to ensure suppliers are actively and appropriately managed across the organization in an effort to achieve business objectives.
- Educate, partner, support, and build business relationships with various PV functions to develop and execute the required vendor oversight plans.
- Through the application of various vendor oversight tools, systems and techniques, the Associate Director, PV Vendor Oversight will deliver business value in line with agreed upon PV goals.
- Will lead the implementation and maintenance of contracts, governance, processes, and metrics tracking for key PV vendors/partners in order to ensure business continuity and reduce/mitigate business risks
- Partnering with internal PV and cross-functional resources as well as vendor/partner(s) to develop policies, processes and procedures regarding in/out-sourcing strategy, implementation plans, and operational support.
- Accountable for ensuring sourcing strategies and vendor/partners expectations align with business and PV strategies to ensure best possible performance and outcomes for company and PV.
- Identifying potential areas of vulnerability and risk. Developing mitigation plans to proactively reduce risk..
- May provide project management and oversight for PV due diligence and/or other initiatives as needed.
- Maintain PV Agreements.
The ideal candidate will have the following skill-set:
- Hands on experience in a large global PV team
- Hands on experience overseeing PV Vendors from a KPI and accountability perspective.
