Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Strategic Account Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in building and maintaining relationships with key clients, ensuring their satisfaction, and identifying new opportunities to increase sales. This role requires a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, particularly in the areas of opioids, CNS, and substitution therapies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Key Accounts: Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with significant clients in the pharmaceutical sector.
  • Client Satisfaction: Ensure client satisfaction by addressing their needs and providing innovative solutions.
  • Sales Growth: Identify and approach new potential strategic customers to drive sales growth.
  • Liaison Role: Act as the liaison between key customers and internal teams to ensure seamless communication and service delivery.
  • Problem Solving: Handle complaints and problems in a timely and effective manner.
  • Performance Metrics: Monitor sales performance metrics and prepare regular reports and forecasts.
  • Market Analysis: Analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform strategic decisions.
  • Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and manage account budgets effectively.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven work experience as a Strategic Account Manager or Key Account Manager in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong negotiation skills, and a problem-solving attitude.
  • Knowledge: Deep understanding of sales performance metrics and hands-on experience with CRM software and account management systems.
  • Education: BSc degree in Sales, Business Administration, or a relevant field.
  • Travel: Availability to travel as needed.
