Senior Field Application Specialist - Cell Therapy & Regulated Markets (EMEA)
About the role
This role serves as a trusted scientific and technical partner for customers in cell therapy, biopharmaceutical, and regulated research environments across EMEA. With strong expertise in CAR‑T workflows and GMP/GxP requirements, the position supports customers transitioning from research to clinical manufacturing, providing pre‑ and post‑sales technical support and contributing to commercial success.
Location
This position can be based anywhere in the BENELUX, DACH, or the UK, with extensive travel across the EMEA region.
Key responsibilities
- Act as the primary scientific interface for customers operating in cell and gene therapy, including GMP/GxP environments
- Advise on product selection, assay validation, regulatory documentation, and quality standards
- Provide technical support across discovery, translational, and manufacturing workflows
- Partner with commercial teams to identify opportunities and deliver tailored technical presentations
- Support regulatory‑focused customer needs (e.g. traceability, reproducibility, change control)
- Share field insights to guide product strategy and development
- Represent the organisation at conferences and industry events
- Support product launches, early access programmes, and internal training initiatives
- Build and maintain key opinion leader (KOL) relationships across the region
- Collaborate closely with regional sales, marketing, product, and R&D teams
Skills and experience
- Advanced degree (PhD or Master's) in cell biology, immunology, or related discipline
- Extensive experience supporting or working within GMP/GxP biopharmaceutical environments
- Strong technical knowledge of CAR‑T cell therapy and clinical development processes
- Solid understanding of regulatory expectations in regulated markets
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to adapt messaging to varied audiences
- Experience working in an international, fast‑paced commercial setting
- Fluent English; additional European languages desirable
- Willingness to travel extensively across the region
