Overview
On behalf of our client, a leading innovator in the In Vitro Diagnostics (IVD) sector, we are seeking a commercially driven and strategic Sales Director to lead European sales operations. This is a high-impact leadership role focused on driving regional growth, managing key accounts, and building a high-performing sales team across diverse European markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute a pan-European sales strategy aligned with the company's global objectives.
  • Lead, coach, and expand the European sales team to deliver strong commercial performance.
  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with laboratories, hospitals, distributors, and healthcare providers.
  • Oversee key account management and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, regulatory, and product teams to support successful product launches and market expansion.
  • Monitor market dynamics, competitor activity, and customer trends to inform strategic decisions.
  • Report to senior leadership and contribute to global sales planning.

Candidate Profile

  • Significant experience in sales leadership within the IVD, diagnostics, or medical devices industry.
  • Proven track record of delivering growth across multiple European markets.
  • Strong understanding of regional healthcare systems and regulatory environments.
  • Fluent in English; additional European languages (e.g., German, French, Spanish) are advantageous.
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel across Europe as required.
